If you're only going to have one computer connected, the modem should come with everything you need. Also, the instructions should walk you right through the setup procedure - just follow along and you shouldn't have any trouble.
The only potential wrinkle is if you're going to have more than one computer using the connection, you need to get the extra hardware (switch or router) and network cables on your own. But you can always just set up one computer for now, and connect the other one later when you have the rest of the equipment. Hope that helps!
