I would suggest that for now, you continue focusing on your grades in H.S.

Once you graduate, the main requirements for possibly becoming a member of my prestigious organization is first making sure there is an active chapter on campus. Then considering you can't go through MIP till your second year of school, I would focus on your grades your first year. Freshmen grades are critical when attending college. Strive to get All A's if possible, if not a few B's would be great as well. While you are waiting till your second year, join as many organizations as possible, and become actively involved on your college campus. (BSU, Gospel Choir, Student Government, etc..) Start performing community service NOW while you are in HS and continue doing so after you start college. You also want to make sure you keep in touch with the people that you are performing community service for, as you will need a letter of recommendation from them once you apply for membership.

Do you know an active and financial Delta? You will also need an active and financial member to write you a letter of recommendation as well....

Last but not least, get to know my sorors on campus. You will need their votes in order to get an invitation to membership. You can do this by attending their events, speaking to them *trust me, we don't bite* and allowing them to get to know you.

If you follow this, you stand a chance for membership!

Good luck to you!
