Any ';Service Advising'; advice?

I just got a new job at a ford dealership as a service adviser. Just wondering if any one wants to give a young lady just starting out a bit of advice in being assertive in recommending a service. (Hectic job man!!)Any ';Service Advising'; advice?
the more knowledgeable you are, the easier your job will be





find out what the reputation of the dealership is, if they're known for overselling or unnecessary repairs, you will have a long uphill battle trying to change customer's minds into believing that you are not ripping them off when you try to sell them repairs on their vehicle





if you focus on female customers, and gain their trust, you will be top advisor in no time at all, as male advisors tend to treat female customers badly overall





have a look at the customer comment cards and read them all
